This is one of the stories that'll stay with you for the rest of your life. You will not be able to put the book down. My greatest recommendation is that you avoid the photos in the middle of the book to avoid the spoilers of the future events you're about to read.

I don't think in human history a more powerful story of survival exists.

I honestly believe this should be a book we put into the hands of high schoolers and undergrads. It makes you appreciate everything you have and also makes you realize how resilient our bodies & minds can be when it comes to surviving.

Then talk about a book on pure leadership. I think Shackleton maybe made one mistake that his guys disagreed with him on throughout the entire ordeal.

Absolutely unbelievable. It's something that literally will stick with you, deep in your bones, in your soul even -- as you're reading and in the days after you're done.

I couldn't recommend it more.
